We actually haven't watched it either Aimee, but it's on our list as well. My 8yr old is a little more sensitive to what she watches so often @Tonks watches her movies with Dad, while I watch cartoons with the other kids(or secretly curate posts). She usually reads the books first, so last year she read and watched the Harry Potter series and now she's reading StarWars and has watched the two oldest films. 😁

That's so awesome. I have a confession to make... I've never read the Harry Potter books. Eep! And I have only seen the first movie. I have access to all of them but I just don't seem to have the time for much leisure. Not taking time for ourselves has been a bad habit for a number of years. I guess we do take time for ourselves but it's hard to read books because I like to finish books quickly and these days I would probably go weeks between reading. Super cool that she's watching and reading Star Wars! How is she enjoying it? Ha ha ha! Secretly curating content is a serious Mom-skill. -Aimee
Aimee!! I hadn't read a book (well, outside of parenting or self-help) in nearly a decade!! So, I decided I wanted to read Atlas Shrugged this summer. It's a monster! Not difficult, just long! Anyway, I checked out the book at the library, then I checked out the audiobook through Hoopla-offered at my library and downloaded the audiobook to my phone. Then whenI was driving or doing dishes, or even running out to feed the chickens, I was listening to the audiobook! At night while nursing the baby to sleep, I would read because I could read faster than I could listen, but anyway, maybe give that a try? It was a total game changer for me!
