Lately if you notice, I've been streaming some gameplay content on my latest post in steemit and those who don't know what is World of Warcraft, let me explain. World of Warcraft is an MMORPG that was released by Blizzard Entertainment back in 2004 and therefore been updated by a few expansion across the years. The lore of World of Warcraft took place after the event that happened in Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne.
World of Warcraft has been an epic game-changing era for me as I used to think Maple Story is fun back in those days and thanks to @jieh who introduce about this game, my viewpoint changed ever since that day. Thou private server is free to play but many quest and areas have occasional bugs and glitches which affects some of our gameplay and till a few days ago, I've joined up the official server of World of Warcraft.
Luckily for me, World of Warcraft is supported in Windows and MacOS, game requirements are relatively not super high and you can even play with a machine that is almost 6 years old. World of Warcraft requires a lot of clicking on the keyboard and my MacBook is using this butterfly keyboard that isn't really suitable for gaming in a long run, hence I got myself an external keyboard and a headset for a better mic to stream, as the onboard mic is picking up every sound in the surrounding.
Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2
I've gotten myself a Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2 mechanical gaming keyboard which I've been eyeing for few years after my first try on its clicky button. Compare the V1 and the V2 of Razer Blackwidow Chroma, V1 only comes with Razer Green Switches whereas V2 comes with 3 different Razer Switches (Green, Yellow and Orange) with each of them represent different feel and sound as you type. The V2 also comes with a detachable wrist pillow as an upgrade over the V1 and I've opted for the Green Switches (Clicky Sound)
It has a built-in USB port and Audio/Mic port as well on the right side of the keyboard for more easier accessibility and built-in RGB backlit lighting on each key which is programmable via Razer Synapse for profile switching.
Razer Kraken Pro 7.1 V2
Besides the keyboard, I've gotten this headset mainly for its mic function as the onboard mic of the MacBook isn't suitable for streaming as it's picking up a lot of the ambience surround noise easily but the surround sound channel in this headset is an eargasm when I'm gaming. Unlike any headset which usually uses a 3.5mm audio and mic jack for connectivity, this headset uses a USB port for connecting as it required for the surround sound channel to work seamlessly.
It has 2 choices of key cover for this headset which is mainly Oval or Circle, I've opted for the Oval as it offers bigger coverage for my big ears.
Done Unboxing and Time For Setup
Took me an hour to reorganize the table and set up the keyboard, monitor, headset and laptop to suit my streaming and working style on a daily basis. If you ask me why do I put my monitor like that as of the picture that you see, the reason is to prevent neck stress over long hours of working and stream as we all almost look at screen downwards.
If you would like to join me for World of Warcraft, let me know on the comment section below so that I can recruit you as my friend so we can get an extra bonus while questing and killing mobs. You can also watch my daily live stream at dlive which I usually stream at night time 8PM (GMT+8) unless I'm busy.
Here's a bonus picture for those who actually read until below here 😂,
Tiger doing it's usual sniffing security clearance check on all parcel and things that I usually bring home.
