Hello Steemians! During my university career, as a student of graphic design, I had to reinterpret a poem of my preference and adapt it to an artistic work using a shoe as the protagonist of the artwork. The poem that I chose at that time was the poem "Search" of the Mexican writer and poet Humberto Garza, which says the following:
With this beautiful poem, everyone can interpret it in a unique and different way, since for some it may represent the author reflecting himself, as for others, the search for a security or a reality, as well as the search for a love or a woman. Having all these opinions on one side, for me this poem represents the search for something specific, be it a stability, security or demonstrate what one represents before others in the world. And what better way to interpret it from the point of view of an artist, person in charge of creating a work of art, in this case, from the perspective of a painter.

Having a shoe as the main protagonist of this work or reinterpretation of the poem, the materials that were used for this interpretation were: a circular cardboard support as the basis of this artwork, oil tubes and brushes, essential materials that go hand in hand with a painter and highlighting the shoe, because it fulfills the role of the artist within the work.
Something significant, is that the shoe for this interpretation has informalist features, for the fact that it is the current where the artist expresses himself freely, since in informalism there is a strong presence of the personality of the artist through the techniques or materials used, an enthusiasm for improvisation and a rejection of premeditated construction. The artists in their works intend to reflect and liberate the mysterious world of the unconscious, elaborating their compositions regardless the order of the elements.
To culminate, all the elements mentioned together with the informalist shoe, imply that this artwork symbolizes the artist reflecting himself, him at its maximum expression.In this way, with all the informal details impregnated in this shoe, I hope that the objective of interpreting that it is an artist is achieved. Anyone who is an artist feels identified, that being an artist is being free. To seek and understand oneself is something essential for everyone and more to understand the world that surrounds them.
