HI everyone, I'm Dave, an aspiring engineer and a lover of great write ups. I'm in love with blogging. My journey on steemit started 3 months ago and since then, I've never looked back.
It has been a turpsy-turvy experience so far here Steemit. Some days has been good and a bit fair, other days are not so good and a bit discouraging . But regardless, I can never give up on what I love.

Steemit for a newbie can be really frustrating if you don't have friends to guide you. Making new friends seems much of a priority here than I initially thought. I always thought it has to do with the amount of content in which one has to offer and the effect it has on your readers. I have come to realize that with so many more users, it becomes difficult to read each and every article written by everyone.

Regardless, some individuals with enough steem power have been relentless in their reward for hard work and credibility. I have also learnt a lot from the people I met here on steemit, I also read up some wonderful informative posts that has improved my knowledge generally in the real sense of the world.

I've learnt about a few foreign cultures that under normal circumstances might seem a bit unusual to me initially.

I still believe that I will really go places on steemit as I'm yet to fully diversify in every aspect and I'm willing to fly in so many areas that my head starts swooning just by thinking about them.Wonderful friends like @prinxeton, onlinemugu and @benlegend-1 had been a tremendous guidance and motivator. They motivate me to do more and rise above ignorance and mediocrity. Without people like them, I would have been lost as a newbie.

I'm so grateful to @sirknight of #steemchurch for his numerous contributions on my progress on this platform as he has been my biggest curator through the aid of the two annoying mice, @sniffandscurry as well as my #steemchurch family. Other groups such as #wafrica and #sprtshub has welcomed me into their fold and I must say that they really warmed up to me and made me feel welcomed.

I'm thrilled to be able to introduce myself to the members of the steempress community as I've heard so much about it. I hope to be able to contribute tremendously to the progress of this group in every capacity of my being.

I have to say that this is just the beginning of my journey on steemit and I'm quite positive that it's gonna be a wonderful journey. I'll end with these words of Vincent Van Gogh, he said and I quote;

If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.
