Japanese Ramen review (日本拉面评论) - food comparison of four ramen in Jakarta, Indonesia

Hello friends, if you ever read my article then you must know that i like to eat noodle. The one kind that i love to eat is Japanese Ramen (日本ラメン). Where we usually eat ramen is various. The one that we ate recently was Ippudo Ramen. Once I heard a friend told me that the ramen here is the best so we went there to try it.

Here is my review about it,

The food restaurant was located on 4th floor Pacific Place. It was quite large and they had many customers so no wonder that we should wait for several times to be seated.

They had many customers and I heard most of them spoke Japanese, so i guessed it was a pure Japanese style restaurant.

I think it was a nice place with clean, neat and comfy ambience. They had a touch of luxury also in their interior, with some chandelier hung on the ceiling.

And when we arrived, the waitress came and guided us to our table, then she told us to put our bags on an open box under our table.

What made me surprised, the waitress bowed down when we ordered our food. I never found any japanese restaurant which had similar act here in Jakarta.

Here were what we ordered

I ordered shiromaru ramen which was the japanese hakata ramen. It was served with the pork chasiew on its' top. The ramen's texture was not soft as i imagined. And they used the straight ramen for this shiromaru ramen. The pork was tasty but i liked the broth because it was a bit thick and also not so clear. Kind of my favorite ramen. But i don't like the noodle texture for this ramen.

Mom ordered her favorite shoyu ramen, but here they only sold chicken shoyu ramen. no pork shoyu ramen. The chicken was tasty but not the tastiest we ever tried. And for shoyu ramen, they used the curly and a bit wider noodle which had lighter texture than the straight one.

Conclusion, the price was not cheap and the ramen was not as delicious as i had imagined but the service was excellent and i also liked the ramen's soup, the soup broth was so tasty. Maybe i only give 7 if i give score for the ramen here. You also need to pay more if you want the egg on your ramen which never happened in another japanese ramen restaurant.

Now i would like to compare it with my other ramen experience.

First, compared it to ikkado ichi. I never written about this before, but i ate the ramen few weeks ago and unfortunately didn't take any pictures that time. But i fortunately still keep the picture when i went there before.

Here it was
Signature buta ramen

I loved how the ramen's broth taste, tasty and yummy. The pork they put was so tasty, it was savory and soft. The ramen i asked for was the straight, while mom was the curly one. Actually here the different was only the curly was a bit wider than the straight one, but they had the same texture. Here if i give score on it, i will give 8. It was more delicious than ippudo.

Second, i compared it with ramen 38 sanpachi which i wrote a review about before

The ramen here was the tastiest i ever tasted, especially the pork. The texture of the ramen noodle also not too hard nor soft. Perfect. So if i must give a score, i would give it a 9 score which is almost perfect.

Third, i would like to compare it with ramenya!

A bit review, the roasted chicken on the legendary ramen was perfect. And also the texture of the noodle was soft. The flavor was savory, a bit sweet and i liked the chilli paste here. If i should give score only to compare, i give 8.

From four ramen restaurant which i have ever tried above, i think ramen 38 sanpachi is the best for now. You could try it too when you come to Jakarta.
