RE: 7 reasons for your child to learn chess

I love chess and the thinking required to play the game. I taught my son to play at when he was in about 2nd grade. The school let me start an afterschool chess club. It was a lot of fun. The kids were enjoyed learning the game and playing each other.

The teaxhers loved it, because the kids would play chess on rainy days, when they had to stay in for recess.

Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it, it requires a lot of mental agility, children are better than adults, this is an excellent tool to put it into practice.

Your welcome. I'm a big fan of activities that are fun and have kids thinking. I coach a high school policy debate team, another activity that gets kids thinking critically and using logic.
