Love: Then to Now

A beautiful feeling encountered by all,
Bit by bit mordified.
Though now, enormous divergence exists,
& content completely mutated.

Love in the generation of grandpas were like,
Sacrificial, self-less, delicate & enshrine.
A generation full of ethics & moral values,
No lust, no expedite, no explicit at all.
Replenished with respect, care & sprituality.
A civilised manner-full age, full of atticates.
Though were of introvert nature &
Gets accustomed with trends without protest.
The age had its own elegance,
Where love was concealed & modest.
Compromises & cooperation were weapons,
& parents were the legal source of it.

As the time flew on its wings,
Love suffered with drastic changes.
Now, for us, the concept was,
Selfish, lusty, egocentric & instant gratificacious.
Drugs & booze influenced newly build culture.
Hookups commanized with gratificational & excitemental start,
But end up making more empty & alone.
Fornication came first in love list,
& essence of pure love, for life-time lost.
Now, it symbolise 'physical relation'.
Sex, no longer, left as special experience,
But just another trivial evening.
Date for the sake of dating concept took birth,
Without realising wrong attempts cut backs chance of right.
Expectation of perfection without compromise became common,
Fairy-tale with a happy ending became desire.
But the biggest blunder was,
Excluding parents from the mix.

It really changed awfully,
But Unfortunately in atrocious way.
The ideal feeling lost its eternity,
Making the world, Land of greedy.
