Hello friends of @steemiteducation, today I wanted to bring you a post that I hope will help you if you feel that your children or students are presenting a lack of attention.

The lack of attention is very common in children because they tend to be very scattered, if they are not excited or if they are curious about things.
Do not forget that being attentive is essential to have a good academic performance and improve relationships with others. Luckily, there are exercises with which you can improve the lack of attention and which are quite simple to practice from home.

On the Internet we find many resources to train our memory and improve our attention and concentration.

In addition to them, at home we can perform simple exercises with our children that will be of great help, such as the following:
  • List three, four or five things (depending on the age of the child) that they can find at home and ask them to bring them to see if they have attended the list.

  • Say a word or a number. Next, recite a list of words or numbers, among which is the previous one, and ask him to make a signal when he hears it.

  • Place different items on the table in a certain order, and that same order varies so that the child replaces them as they were at the beginning.

  • Save several objects in a box, and close it. Next, ask your child to repeat the name of all the objects that are inside it.

  • Ask your child to say aloud what he has to do, as if he were giving orders to himself. "I have to finish this exercise, I have to read this book that the language teacher sent me", are examples of how to put it into practice.

  •  When looking for games that improve attention, there are countless of them. For example, the games look for the differences between two images that at first sight look the same, discover an element hidden in a complex drawing, choose the correct answer among several possible, make a silhouette following a few numbered points, color a drawing constructed by spaces listed, order cards according to a sequence, interpret tracks connected to each other to search for an object, among others.

The idea is to get our child to concentrate and for them we use these types of strategies that we must include in the child's routine, at least until we see that their attention has improved.
It is very important that parents collaborate and define the problem accurately, which they can do with the help of their teachers. Normally, children who do not concentrate or do not pay attention, have low school performance and educators will inform you about it.
We must also analyze the root of the problem and discover if the lack of attention is due to demotivation in class. In that case, we must support him, set goals with him, and show him the positive side of his tasks.

What do you think of these exercises to improve the lack of attention? If your child has attention deficit, I hope you find it useful.

Thanks for visiting my blog and I'm waiting for you in my next post!
