RE: Steem-Engine Tutorial: Exchanging Tokens For Steem

in #steempress6 years ago

Nice tutorial! 2 questions: What is ENG? Like the purpose/use of the token.. should I have some of these?

And also, now that I'm getting tokens from 3+ frontends fairly regularly, it takes me a loooongg time to collect them all and then stake them all. I'm using steemconnect, but each step requires a sign-in, a password, a key, and sometimes a weird "import account" thing. Do you have a faster method?

Sort:

I'm not an expert, but ENG is the native token of Steem-engine, like Steem is the native token on SteemIt.
I have a couple (not much), just in case. But i don't know enough about it to give you advice on that.

The second question, however... as it happens, I bumped into a post today which I read earlier this week but totally forgot about.
There's a service that claims your tokens automatically every hour. The staking, I'm afraid, is a manual process, but automating the claiming process will save you a lot of time.

Here's a link to the post about it: https://steemit.com/kr/@blockchainstudio/scotauto

By the way, I forgot to mention: I've been using the Steem Keychain extension since a few months, and it really made things a lot easier (and safer).
