JDM, Japanese Domestic Market. One of the most iconic scenes in motorsport. Even until today there are lots of cars still use Japan technology for example Formula Drift, with most of their cars transplanted with 2JZ engine no matter what car they use be it a Corvette, a BMW or even a Mercedes.
Even though certain countries like Germany and Korea have been chasing up automobile technology, there are still some roots that we couldn't forget. I have to admit, for power or racing, I'll go for the old school all power no tech or fancy stuff. For me, technologies are mostly for comfort, fuel saving, quiet and peace.
I think the picture above really fits JDM cars, especially the most left and the right ones, fitting into a Honda NSX from the picture below...
My favorite blue, although not the same as the Bayside Blue from Nissan Skyline R34 which is my all time favorite, this blue is quite acceptable still for me. So, Honda NSX? or a Toyota Supra. Both cars are really rare in Malaysia, you do not see these vehicles on the road regularly. I'll say about, 5% chance you'll meet one of them? The Supra is rare enough but the NSX is totally endangered species here...
For Power I'll definitely go for Supra, for looks I'll definitely vote for NSX. Well I couldn't afford to have one of them anyway, so the best I can do is stand as close as possible from them, and taking pictures...
JDM forever~
