It probably won't be what tips it into recession, unless it starts to spread and actually becomes a global outbreak. They are indeed a huge part in the global economy, but it's usually in these times of crisis that the demand for more resources and manpower for these situations rise, so it can serve to warm up some countries economies, so it might just about stay stable enough.
But hey, I'm just a nobody on the internet without proper economy knowledge, so I'm probably just plain wrong.
