Cindy Thompson came into the Ghanaian music scene in 2000 with her hit song, Awurade Kasa, which was adopted by the NPP in the 2000 polls in Ghana. Though she is not heard of lately, her songs of almost 2 decades are still played by many today and they don't sound like they are 18 years old.
