[New Players]
SteemQuest is an ongoing and growing RPG world here on Steem. New players are always welcome. Players can come and go as they desire, just let us know when you are leaving (say you are taking an IRL 2 week vacation) we will make sure your character is somewhere safe until you return (or Thunk may just cover you with leaves on the side of the road)
If you are New and want to join just reply to any active post with a character. I will create you a character card and add you

After a fine meal and bottles of rum, the members of the party with imbue attempt to activate the power of the Gems. Remembering they need to find a shrine where ley lines converge, they decide to sleep for the night.
The party is shaken awake by the ship running aground. As they moved to the upper deck they see the are on a sand bar. They see a glow coming from the island. They board a small landing boat and make there way ashore.
The knight stays on the boat.
Quaid rowing "Well obviously that sand bar wasn't on the map. Hopefully when the tide comes in we'll be able to set sail again. In the meantime, I sense a convergence of ley lines... we should check it out."
Can we climb up that broken bridge just to the north of us? It looks like a pile of broken giant swords or something.
Thunk grabs onto a rope from the broken bridge and pulls the boat close to the pile of swords. ‘These look like Knight Swords. Anyone need a new blade?” Thunk starts loading the swords into the boat. @simplegame How many are there in the pile?

Thunk searches for anything else that may be overgrown on this rock. @searchbot
You search the surrounding area and you find NOTHING
All clear here. Only 4 of these were worth keeping. Thunk stands in the front of the boat with one raised bent knee and points a sword forward “Onward & upward!”
"Once we get these swords loaded we'll follow the coast along the north edge of the river. We'll inspect those statues, standing and fallen. Then someone needs to climb up that one and take that gem out of its hand. We'll work our way around the bend and collect all these gems before stopping at that center isle. Because, that looks a lot like a shrine to me..."
