Imagine when you can earn tokens for replying to your comments often, posting everyday or even getting tokens for NOT posting to trending 5 times in the same day or NOT flagging posts that don't also have flags by other high SP accounts separate from you. These are all examples of how you can get SMT's in the future for maybe replying to your Blog posts or upvoting comments on your Blog, things like that will now be grounds for rewards in the future, with automated oracle based SMT payouts being linked to the code, evberyuthing counted on the blockchain, maybe the more lcomments you leave consistently thje more comment tokens you can earn, or maybe they will make an SMT that only get's emitted when someone posts everydayy for 30 days straight, a monthly attendance award token, and the same for a week, and ayear, maybe even a token that gets awarded out automatically to accounts who follow a rule about maybe getting a lot of Votes so you can have a SMT with it's own reward pool like they will have, which rewards people who get lots of votes by number and not just stake based! Anyway These are all the things we can now expect with SMTs coming very soon!

We will see a new era of Airdrop swith EOS to replace the era of ICOs with Ethereum ERC20s
Steem and SMTs will also bring this sort of new sort of DPOS tokens to the table probably by next year and later this year we will have communities to really challenge reddit with their 270 million + Users. We can take all of them and make steem demand drive the price up to $50+ per steem and SBD

@ned for not voting for other people post is a way of showing good leadership qualities and neutrality in the steemit platform. We are all waiting for the full implementation of the SMT token, let us see how it will transform the network for the better @ackza

I understand @ned. Meanwhile, I don't think anybody is obligated to vote anyone and as you have rightly said, he will be accused of favoritism.
It is also worthy to note that he has been declining payout too. He's a fair man and a good leader
@ned should remain neutral because if he upvotes one definitely he will have to upvote all post including mine lol ,so not clicking that upvote button is the right way to go.
