It's funny how you're depicting this as a disaster but to me, it is just another day in my life. Electricity and communication are luxuries around here(Mando, Kaduna, Nigeria).
I get 6 hours of electricity daily and shitty 4G or slightly manageable 3G network that's expensive as fuck.

That's hectic bro, we only get power cuts daily now for 2x2 hours, scheduled systematically town by town. So we are ok for 20 hours a day. The 24 hour break was an extra once-off on top of the usual cuts. Nigeria my brother, we are the two top economies on the continent, and yet we both have daily power cuts. Only 6 hours a day is too hectic man. And I believe the cell phone data providers are screwing us in Africa with the most expensive fees in the world.
