Blood Serpent, by Darling Brew:
Darling Brew is a small craft brewery that brews some very nice beers. The Blood Serpent is a Czech Style Pilsner, inspired by the Secretary Bird. The Secretary Bird is legendary for killing snakes, by stomping them to a pulp with its feet - from there the name BLOOD SERPENT!!
Darling Brew claims to be Carbon Neutral by donating to the Kariba Redd Project in Zimbabwe, you can find the link to this project towards the end of this post.
The Beer comes in a nice looking 330ml bottle and has a 5% alcohol content.
The beer pours with a nice golden color and lots of tiny bubbles, with a rather large white head.
I don't taste the grass they talk about on the label, (I don't think I would like a grass taste) but the beer definitely has some good citrus hops taste, which I liked a lot. I think I definitely must drink some more of this beer, not because I like it so much, but to support the environment - anything for a good cause!! LOL

Citrus hop i love that in a beer. And serpents well you have that in SA, we dont have that either
