Greetings Steem South Africa!
GATHERING THE TROOPS:(until this account gains a little more traction) to see if reaching out to the many South African members I have found around on the platform will render some response. It is a little challenging considering that many of these members have been inactive for a long time and unless they have some other external link shared on their cover image on Steem, they are practically impossible to contact. I do not want to tag people twice, so am encouraging the handful of people following us here, to please go and take a look at the list on my personal profile and see if you are able to make direct contact with any of the names listed - outside of the Steem space. Once that post is published, I will edit this one and add a direct link. I hope everyone is having a fantastic week so far - I know I am! With our new #SteemSA discord server just under a week old now and our very first "official" account post made, it is great to see that our fellow South Africans are starting to crawl out of the cracks and trickle in to the server, but I would very much like to turn that trickle into a steady flow sooner rather than later, so am working hard at locating existing and old Steemians! I, @jaynie, will be making another "shoutout" post today from my personal account

GENERATING SUPPORT: As with any new account on Steem, a little support is needed as we start our engine, so that we can begin to actively engage with, support and most importantly ENCOURAGE our fellow South Africans to become and remain actively involved here.
