Yeah - don't DO THAT!!! It's really going to get you down, I'm afraid.
For me, I simply keep track of how much heavier my stack is growing, and how close I am to my ultimate goal of stacking 1,000 oz. of silver. Truth is, I'm closer to that goal than I thought I would ever be - but I'm still a long, long ways off. Even if I only get 1/2-way there, I'll be happy - because I know that, at the right time, it's going to help me buy my first house. So what if it takes another 5 or 10 years? It's the "American Dream," and I don't plan on taking out a huge mortgage loan to pay for it, either. I'm looking forward to making a down payment of at least 50% - hopefully I'll be able to just buy some place outright. Either way, my monthly expenses are going to be extremely manageable as compared to almost everyone else I know. 309 oz., and counting...
