Demand drives the price. There is a high demand for bitcoin because most of investors believe it has bright future and there is an easy money on the table that they just need to collect.
Bitcoin and crypto in general will continue to be a big story for a few years I think. I'm hoping precious metals start to gain some popularity too as more people lose faith in fiat.
