I picked up this round early this year from Anonymous Mint. There was a limited minting of only 3000 rounds, each coming with its own certificate of authenticity. They have since sold out however, and these are now only available on the secondary market at a higher price. I am glad I was able to acquire one early enough, but it was still a little pricey, even directly from the mint.

"The Bitcoin Guardian Silver Round is the design of the “Guardian” figure. It is a left-profile portrait of a human figure that is figureless and faceless in detail. There are a set of rays coming from the face along with engravings of the weight, purity, and metal content of the round. The name of the production mint, Anonymous Mint, is also featured on this face of the round" (1).

"The obverse of all 1 oz Proof Bitcoin Guardian Silver Rounds includes the image of the Bitcoin symbol. It reflects that of the US Dollar in appearance, with a capital “B” replacing the “S” with two vertical lines struck through it. The background field includes computer code text, with engravings that reflect the popular use of the currency as a “peer to peer” form of payment" (1).
Anonymous Mint is a private American metals refining company who's leading designer is Julie Lindquist. There is not much that is publicly known about the mint (hence the name), but they have a reputation for making limited designs, and have previous experience designing BTC rounds. The BTC rounds from Anonymous Mint are regarded as in the top tier of physical BTC silver rounds (not counting the ones with the peel-back stickers to reveal wallet addressees with actual BTC in them, those usually are not silver), and are well known in the BTC community by those who are also silver enthusiasts.
The lettering engraved on the edge of these rounds (forgot to photograph) bears a serial number that matches its corresponding certificate of authenticity's (COA) serial number, making each and every one of these rounds unique. The COA that comes with this coin is as legit as the mint it hails from, beast.
Having a physical Bitcoin artifact, that represents an intangible currency, that you would not normally be able to touch is incredible. The fact that it holds precious metal/collector value that is totally separate from BTC itself is also fascinating. I am proud to own a little piece of history from this strange but somehow awesome time we live in. It will not be long before BTC is completely a thing of the past. Who knows, these coins could even be worth more than Bitcoin one day, I can dream can't I? Blessings my friends, and stay tuned - into the right frequencies.

What a nice piece!
good post
Nice man, I am a HUGE fan of the Anonymous mint and Julie Lindquist. I picked up one of these as well, the blackened version when I started stacking about a year ago. I got it at JM bullion and by some stroke of luck ended up with serial number 2!! Good to see you post about it and know there is another Anonymous mint fan out there. Funny thing is I just posted a blog about mine this morning too. @silverd510 tipped me off to your post. Peace my man!
Saweet! Wow we must have been intuitively on the same frequencies! I am about to check out your post and also give it a re-Steem so it can me next to mine on my blog as well. I cannot believe you got #2! What a stroke of luck!
This Guardian is a very nice round
