Hey steemit
So I spent the day in Russell Manitoba. Watched some TV, then went out on the town.
Now this isn't a big Town, maybe 1200 population. Bit it's a quaint little place.
The town center war memorial
So this place is famous for its street arches according to their web pages

Only issue is that they all fell over a couple years ago

So anyway, I find a little antiques shop, but they had no real silver or gold. Well one way overpriced gilded pocket watch.
So I was skunked in this town... No treasures to fill my pockets, but I did find a world class lunch.
Well, you can't always win I suppose.
So take care everyone. And keep stacking up real money... Gold and silver.
Looks like it was a great day, and not a flake of snow in sight! Has spring finally sprung????
Sorry to hear that you didn't find anything, but there is always next time :)
Did you decide to hit or find any garage sales in the area?
None to be found, I drove around for a while, covered the whole town pretty much. It's maybe a bit early in the season yet for them
excellent!! spring is finally arriving.
The hunt is part of the adventure.....The thrill of the hunt..........But we always have a comfort food to relieve the disappointment of the lost find........Oh Canada
I have passed under those very arches !!!
I was hoping to do the same. But I guess its not to be. I went downtown, expecting to see them and was thinking I was in the wrong place, but when I got back to the hotel, I looked it up and found the cbc article
A&W is a good consolation prize :) looks like a cool town. Keep On stackin
Well you tried brother, atleast lunch was good👍
Well, I wouldn't say good, lol, but I ate it. A&W is not my favorite, but I wanted something fast and it was that or subway. And I'm so tired of subway I'd rather just go hungry I think.
I think the lunch is a pretty good treasure!
It's not always the treasure, it's the journey buddy. Making memories.
Right you are, it's almost all journey in life, with little treasures along the way. That gilded watch almost came home with me, but it was a bit too modern for my taste, likely from the 1940's or 1950's.
The spicy habanero chicken burger is an underated phenom!
😜👍
It was OK, not my favorite fast food, and coins have used some hot sauce on it to tell you the truth... It certainly isn't what I'd call spicy!
Yo fat-e, is it you who’s looking for the ‘81 commemorative dollar?
Yeah, kinda, I haven't really been looking eBay or anything. But yeah, I've wanted that one for a while
Moo ah ah ahhhh...!!!
Wanna make a trade?
Sure dude. Whatcha want? Or I can just send something cool.
Ooh. It's a beauty, in a nice case too!
Haha, I like your humour!
No gold or silver? How about copper? Anything to keep stackits away...
Nothing buddy. Not a deal to be found!
Gracias por mostrarme algunos paisajes de la bella Canadá. Es mi sueño conocerla
