So @raybrockman had a pretty cool challenge for the precious metals stacking community on Steemit. The #steemsilvergold members were tasked with trying to build towers with their stacks. I don't really do that anymore after "the accident"
Basically one day I was playing Lego with my silver and it all came crashing down, I vowed to never do that again. I don't like broken capsules and scratched up coins.
That being said I admire people with the guts to still play with their stacks and I've enjoyed seeing the different structures others have been building.
I wanted to do something so I filled a brief case with metals to show some of my humble stack.
It's not much but it was fun..

I'm not even sure. With the briefcase included (which is lightweight its aluminum) I'd guess 15-20 lbs

What coin is that you are talking about?
It's a $2 face value gold coin, minted from 1868-88 I believe. Old Newfoundland coins are pricey and harder to find unfortunately
My brother has loads of pennies and that sort. No gold though.
