Could you even see it? My phone sucks but that is a tiny 1 gram Johnson Matthey silver bar

I bought this for $20 from a Canadian eBay seller right after Johnson Matthey went out of business a few years ago. Since then their products have become more sought after with collectors. There's only two listings on eBay right now of bars in worse shape selling for $60 and up and not in mint seal like this one is

This bar has a mintage of 10,000 which is pretty low as far as JM products go. I bought it impulsivly but now I'm thinking it may have been a good play?

I'll hang onto it and not try to lose it

I got love for tiny bars too!

Not what I would go for, but everyone collects different shiny. As long as there is a market for it (and there appears to be one) you're golden...or ummmmmm...silver.

Those are really dope. Nice buy!

I think you're dope. BB4L MOB ThugLife! 👊😎

I have a 1 of 1000 Jm bar from the 70s they are much sought after !!!

Post that shit! ..and then trade me it 😁

Darn! I had. 1 grammer in plastic all toned up and got rid of it 😢

Whose gonna pay big money for a 1 gram bar tho right? Yeah probably someone..lol ya win some you lose some my friend 👊😎

It’s not the size of the bar that matters, it’s how you use it. 😄

Great point 😁

I don't know what to say....thank for share great post @goldenarms

You've already said too much 💗

I say flip it and turn it into 3-4ozs. Might pay off in the long run.

Yeah I'll sell it one day, can't hurt to hang onto it for awhile tho it's not like I need the $ but the hard part will be not to lose it, it's so small haha

It is nice lower mintage piece. Yes they are small. I now have a couple handfuls of generic gram bars after the better half thought they were so "cute". We started giving them to the nieces/nephews for their birthdays and holidays.

Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold

Those are in perfect condition!

I grammers are neat. I think I have 25 of them, LOL!!!

I have a bit of a strange fetish for fractional silver bars... I don't think any I have command nearly that kind of premium though!
I say good damn buy buddy!

$20... that's some expensive silver. I suppose as long as the demand is there it's not a waste, but... what's collectible isn't constant. Weird what people collect. It's your money! Do what you want ;-)

That's pretty cool. I probably wouldn't have paid $20 for it, but hey, if it's over $60 now then you made a wise investment. Congrats!

I know nothing about what the value is but I like them! They are cute.

I have never seen tiny bars like that they look pretty cool and sure looks like it was a good investment

For $20 it’s worth it just for the cool factor 😎

For $20 it’s worth it just for the cool factor 😎 I personally like fractional pieces.

Too small for my not my cup of tea. I prefer 1 ounce or bigger lol
