I recently went to my first ever coin show at the Long Beach Convention Center, if you haven't seen the first blog you can find it here https://steemit.com/steemsilvergold/@grizzman/i-went-to-my-first-coin-show Now I would like to show you guys some of the shinny goodies I was able to get my grimy fingers on.
First up were these cool 1/10 oz walking liberties. I know there is a premium on bullion like this but at just under $3 a piece I couldn't pass them up.
Next up I came across the Prospectors Gold and Gems booth, these guys are awesome. I found this cool "Don't Tread On ME" 3 oz bar for a great price and even bought it from the lady that poured this bar! I originally wanted the 5 oz bar but this 3 oz bar had way too cool pour lines so I snagged it for the stack. Also got this neat little 4.5 gram gold nugget from these guys.
And finally I always wanted one of these Valcambi cards with break off style 1 gram bars. This is the 100 gram version. It's kind of funny, it weighs more in hand than what you would think it would. They were priced way below for what you can find them for online so I pulled the trigger. Here it is with all the rest of the pickups.

Thanks, I was able to pick up the 100g sheet for $85 out the door. I always thought prices would be higher at these shows but in fact they are cheaper than the best deals online!

Yeah, that 3 ozer you have there is pretty sweet. It super high over spot for me to get those bars in the UK.

That is really cool! I would have a hard time saying no to some of these items! That gold nugget is really neat looking - I would like to feel its weight as I hear they always weigh more than they look like they would. The little break off pieces are cool!! And the 3 ounce melted piece is super cool - I like the melt lines as well. Thanks for putting this post together. Really cool.
When I saw these pieces of silver and gold it was like I just had to have them! The gold nugget does weigh a lot more than what you would think it would. I like the natural gold rock form, looks better than a pressed bar to me. Thanks for stopping by!
