That is a cool collection. I used to collect coins when I was a teenager. My father was a national guard and he always came across foreign coins in ports and airports. He gave them to me and I put together a decetn amount of them. Unfortunatelly I lost it when I went to college.
Coins are a great way to keep memories of other countries and cultures. I hope one day to put together a collection with at least one from every country.
Here at Steemit we could find people from every corner of the world to trade coins with, If only S&H weren't so expensive.
Venezuela must be the only country in the world (please, if someone knows of another, let me know) that does not have coins as part of their fiat money system.
We sort of have them in theory, but they are worth so... nothing, they stopped circulating years ago.
We have now bills (bank notes) of 20,000 Bolivares (VBs), that's less than $2. The smallest coin would have to be worht 500Bs to be justified and the last one we had (some 6 years ago) was worth 1Bs
