RE: Q...INFORMATION AIR-DROP...???

Brother pockets - I turned in 27 oz of Canadian currency coinage to tha local shop and got screwed this hard: I paid $669 in total and APMEX value as of yesterday was $575. The guy only paid me $375 CA$H.

He then turned down my asking price of just $2,250 on 108 coin NGC graded collection of mostly 90% silver Bennie F's (with current NGC grade value well over $5k - we are talking PROOF 'PF67's).

  • your thoughts on that jerk, he's making a killing off me in my time of need . . .

(rent won't wait & is due again on Aug. 1 - I am working a daytime warehouse gig AND moonlighting at a restaurant but will never catch up let alone have anybuddie to come home to at this late stage-of-tha-game) sigh

I feel for you... The Coin Shop Owner has to pay for the Shop... The only way he can make money is to buy Low and Sell High... He didn't single you out... He does have to make a profit for his own bills... I've seen people bring in a stack of Silver Dollars to Coin Dealers, and the Dealer didn't even look at the dates... He just counted them and made an offer... I could have given him so much more than the Shop Owner, but I kept my mouth shut... Have you considered putting your Silver Proof Half Dollars on E-Bay...???

Whelp. That was (is) my last option - man they really r@pe you on fees - eBay is a gov't in of iteself! Too bad we do not have a capitalistic (fair) version of online auction but they steal far too much. Then you have your time invested (considerable), packaging, USPS and 'courtesy' / upgrade shipping fees. I am going to just sell there though, in order to set my eBay storefront and I will at least be able to write off the loss. Gotta *knock down this $25k debt before I can ever again think about 'precious' metals as a ~wise~ investment!

  • Hope tha P.C. Theory is well underway by that point . . .

People seem to buy and sell in the #steemsilvergold community... That could be another option for you...
