RE: Gold Porn (#steemsilvergold shoutout)

"The block chain has no entity to take down, or for to go mad with power. It simply exists as the internet does. If the internet or power goes down, the world would be fucked as it resolves into panic. But every single hard drive with a copy of the bitcoin ledger would have to be altered in exactly the same way (at the same time online) for the system to be hacked. Every hard drive would have to be destroyed for your reflecting balance on the last block to be lost. If your bank blew up, your balance would be lost. If your government goes mad with power, your fiat will become worth less than the labor of carrying it. Furthermore concerning value, there is a finite supply of bitcoin, a golden meteor can hit america and wipe it out, killing the demand for it, while doubling the supply. If civilization is truly entering an awakened state, our materialistic value would fall away and gold would be worth the little use case it has."

here is the full article on this matter.

What the hell is this? Lol. R u 12 kid? This isn't about Bitcoin..not everything is about Bitcoin. Your first sentance made me not have to read the rest of your book sized reply. If the power goes out your bitcoins gone..Poof! You can't access it so it'd be best to have other assets somewhere bubs. Cryptos also get lost from the exchanges and stolen all the time..or from ppl losing their passwords. One other thing you're forgetting is you NEED gold to mine cryptos knucklehead, technology depends on it. Without gold you don't have your precious Bitcoin it's that simple. Gold has been a store of value since cavemen used sticks to beat eachother over the head, do u think golds just going to disappear now because of cryptocurrency? Are the largest countries in the world going to start wearing cryptos for jewelry? Will NASA wrap it's instruments in ethereum instead of gold to deflect heat and not tarnish up in space? Can we find a way to cram some invisible Monero into a cellphone to make it work? Golds not going anywhere and cryptos could very well deflate in value super quickly, there's been other can't miss investments pop and leave ppl homeless. Thanks for your ignorant reply but this isn't for cryptopumpers this post is about a different community. Alot of us have and believe in cryptos too but we're not stupid enuff to think they're going to make gold disappear and were not lame enough to go into crypto posts and tell them to believe in gold

"you NEED gold to mine cryptos" ---> "If civilization is truly entering an awakened state, our materialistic value would fall away and gold would be worth the little use case it has." more and more metals are replacing gold's use cases.

and my point relating to your post further continues; " concerning value, there is a finite supply of bitcoin, a golden meteor can hit america and wipe it out, killing the demand for it, while doubling the supply."

Anyways, not arguing, just thought your audience that get's hard on looking at gold might want to reflect.
