You're completely right. Anyone who deals in absolutes will one day face a reality check. Things change. The USA has enjoyed (and abused) it's status as the dominant world currency. But we can't control how the rest of the world treats the dollar, and if they start shying away from it, then the chickens will come home to roost...we do have a powerful military, but even so, we can't take on the whole world. We can only manipulate until the rest of the world gets fed up with it.
