I NEED HELP!

in #steemsilvergold7 years ago (edited)

Alright a few weeks ago I sent a 10oz silver coin to @sevinwilson that he won in a raffle that I had. Well I sent him an extra piece of hand poured silver, he didn't own any and I thought he should. Well being the kick ass kinda guy he is, he respond and has sent me something. Now there is only one problem, he wouldn't tell me what it is, only gave me a ton of clues. Now call me dumb, but I can't figure it out. So let's see if any of you can.

👆👆Sevin Wilson👆👆

Now to the person who guess it right first, I Will send you a piece of silver out of the @raybrockman private stack. SEVIN YOU CANT GUESS!

So let's get started, here is the first clue

Clue 1

#Diversification though! All that glitters this time is

Clue 2

Here is another hint 79

Clue 3

It is more than 47

Clue 4

79 and 47 are related in some way

Clue 5

10th or 11th grade
Maybe 12th

Clue 6

Something that we all did or took during that time. Those two numbers are involved involved in some way.

Clue 7

Your state and my state are also related to 79 and 47, but where Pit lives is not related (mine Alabama, sevins Florida, Pit Nevada)

Clue 8

A little thinking back to some class we had to take back in 10th-12th grade included those numbers as well as the states we live in (AL and FL), but not NV
And 79 is your answer

Clue 9

47 and 79 are both related very much in our lives. 47 more than 79, but they are both also related to the same thing that I mentioned here "A little thinking back to some class we had to take back in 10th-12th grade included those numbers as well as the states we live in (AL and FL), but not NV"

Clue 10

Pretty ironic. The relation to 27 and 45 on this is the same as 47 and 79

Clue 11

Screenshot_20180221-192140.jpg

Clue 12

I would call it the fifth tier of precious metals investments

Clue 13

#5 is your chart
Is also related to your age!
A quick google image search with the two of those and you’ll be closer to the promise land where you find out that 79 and 47 are related closely and that 79 is your answer to your gift! Haha

Clue 14

PM can mean multiple things thinkingthinking

Last Clue!

Clue 15

Hahaha I’ll give another hint. 1x = 0.0321507y. X is more commonly used in more countries while y in less countries I would say.

I mean what is it? The first person to guess right will win, we will go by time stamps, now this package will be delivered tomorrow so you have 24 hours to figure it out and leave your answer.

You need help?

More like you need Magnum PI, Simon & Simon, Sherlock Holmes and the whole cast of Hill Street Blues!!!

No effin’ idea!

I no right. When he said something we did in 10th, 11th or 12 grade, I said dude, yo u can't mail weed to my house🤣🤣😂

Those aren’t clues!!! They’re freakin’ neural pathways!
😂🤣🤣

In the words of Liam Neeson from Taken

Good luck

They will need it

The package is out for delivery today!

People are overthinking it!

Some people have correct parts of it!

No fucking clue, only thing I'm sure of is that he's a cool dude as are you too.

Ok if I just throw out a guess it's a gold gilded silver coin..

1st guess

Hey buddy, my Spidey senses tell.me you're gonna get yourself some Rhodium (45).

Good guess and guess number 2

Tungsten. But I don't know!

Yeah, this 👆. Specifically, he's sending you a gram of Rhodium. FL and AL are both on the periodic table, but NV is not.

It is indeed rhodium.15192783139681312032974.jpg

I think he's sent you some sort of item(s) made out of Copper and/or Titanium... No idea what those items might be, but that's my best guess, haha

Going off of Silver being 47, Gold being 79, Titanium being 22 (Alabama is the 22nd state) and Copper is 29 (Florida was the 29th State)... I'm sure the rest of the clues mean something to decipher the riddles, but thats as far as my brain can go right now haha

DISREGARD ALL THAT....
I just double checked my info... Completely wrong... I read something 100% wrong... HAHAHA...

I'm with @thedamus... NO IDEA!

😂😂🤣🤣

Actually.... I'm sticking with the Titanium bit... Go ahead and log that as my guess 🤣 🤣

Does it have something to do with chemistry? Silver is number 47 and gold is number 79, but I am not sure how the states work into the equation.

I will guess it has something to do with palladium.

Alright palladium is on the books

second this guess

Dude, no idea. But those are some creative clues!

I know, this dude is the riddler

The 47 element on is Silver and the 79 element is gold. Come on stackers you are killing me!!!!

Hey, thought I would give it a try...

Atomic Mass and Nuclear Binding Energy for Rh-79 (Rhodium) but it's atomic number is 45 and also contains cobalt (27)

Calculation for coin value ASW - 1x = 0.0321507y. Oz vs 1g expresses troy ounces, Figured it was just 1 oz from that.

Is it a 1oz Rhodium Bar?

Damn good guess, I will find out tomorrow, but You are in

My guess is palladium.

Think I was wrong and its platinum. Maybe?

Alright you in

I am wondering do this have anything to do with sports, like a trophy. But also gold was popular back then , all that glitter isn't "gold", so maybe a gold medal or medallion. I believe USA won the gold medal in the olympics in '47, that's where Jesse Owen was born in Alabama, also in '79, well, that's all I could come up with. And maybe a gold trophy from school.

You went deep, but I will put you in

Good puzzle and detective post .

Sorry I can't help you

actually i don't know clearly sir about it...
if i know clear..i will help u..
thank u

Alright after much reflection and thought I have worked through these clues. I agree with many here that Rhodium is involved because it is mentioned, however many clues state that your answer is 79 or gold on the periodic table. As most are aware white gold is often 18K gold mixed with some other precious metals and then plated with rhodium. I am venturing to think the gentleman has sent you a piece of white gold jewelry. As jewelry can also be weighed in grams. This is my final answer.

All I have left to say is well played Mr. Bond well played!!

I agree you..But can I do it ..?

sorry because i am new comer so i have no idea about your problem.

It is definitely precious metal. Namely gold

Good post..
thanks for sharing..

All I know is that it's gold. Something you all did? Not drugs haha this is SFW so...maybe yearbook photos? Gold frame or something? Class ring?

Rose bowl ring.

So far I'm guessing something to do with Rhodium and conversions from Grams to Troy Oz. Hmm. Either this

Or this. LOL

I'm guessing it's a Heisman trophy coin.

It's a one gram Palladium bar.

Rhodium spiked in January 2008. The atomic number is 45. But 27 and 47 suggest silver and gold. I am going to go with a Rhodium coin with gold and silver markings. Something along the lines of:

Is it some rhodium?

extra clue for everyone 47 is the atomic number of silver and 79 is the atomic number of gold

your definitely getting gold ray \o/

im thinking 5g of gold :)

I can't get the photo out of my mind. It makes me think that it could have to do with sports and that would work for clue 9 also because we all know that the southeast has to best in all sports. Anyway, I really don't have a solid guess. I also think that the "1x = 0.0321507y. X is more commonly used in more countries while y in less countries I would say." could be the measurement system. 1x being The metric system and the other being The United States customary system. Well that's I've got got, can't wait to find out.
