Is Ebay Really The Best Place To Sell Your Coins

I Got These out To Sell On Ebay

So as you do you try and take the best photo's you can & here are a few of them. Plus a bit of info about the coins and why I'm selling...............Then i thought?

Is Ebay really the best place to sell. Considering the fees 10% and Paypal 3.3% plus £20p. So thats about 13.4% before you even profit. Then there is the postage cost. Really The seller should make more money than than them selling.
So say i look to make 15% profit. Thats almost 30% added to the cost so lets do some maths and see how much you have to sell for to make that... all three of these coins cost around the same, But lets say they cost £20 each. there this tool i use it called 2018 eBay Fee Calculator UK. you can find it here. http://finalfeecalc.co.uk/ 15% of £20 is £3 so lets double that for fees so £6 and add postage costs £2.25. so thats £8.25. £28.25. That actually only brings a profit of £2.01. 10% not 15%

You actually need to sell for £29.39 to make £3 profit and you are still making less than ebay and paypal combined. As they charge their % on the final price including any postage costs.

So how much do you need to sell for to make more than Them lets see..

Crazy really and can make selling not as profitable as you would think as the price you need to sell for is always more. Yes there's seller deals only £1 fees etc and listing under these is always the best option. but if you are selling on ebay or buying sometimes things are not the cheapest for these reasons and i will make me look at other alternatives but ebay has the traffic and until that changes we all being fleeced by the fees big time but what's a guy to do.. suck it up...

Been stacking since 2011 and ive not sold anything yet, im waiting till spot price is £100 oz so it will be easy to make a good profilt (hahahaha, i like to skip while i dream) But the one good thing about silver is, even if you are disappointed with what it sells for, it will inevitably always sell.

True...i like to sell some stuff and then reinvest but is getting harder to do.
rIding the small waves why we wait for the big one to arrive..
No wrong or right way really just for me helps my stack grow but i don't need to sell..So i think thats a good place to be rather than needing to sell..

also - add in one "item not received" case and you have about 10 more sales needed to make up for that. Im amazed if anyone can flip coins for profit on ebay!

In 13 years i had one....I Send all coins signed for min....although they not covered not one item has failed to reach buyer except one time i know just know.... it wasn't signed for and the person took advantage of that..
As who on the day after posting says the items not arrived and demands a refund. A scammer..
Guess i been lucky at least not had any not as descibed and send you back a bu in place of a proof etc.
sign for works for me on most occasions and i have sold a few things i made good profits on so not all doom and gloom but is getting harder to do.
