So my little bro went to New York, I did till him if he found a Coin Shop bring me back the cheapest 1oz you can get over spot. Well, he didn't bring me back any silver, but he did bring back a few coins. |

They may be just pocket change to some but to me they pretty cool.
Plus a nice crisp dollar note to boot.
Not that i have a clue as to what they really are. That's where you guys come in.. Below is a dollar note and i do know most would rather carry a note than a dollar coin. but first I gonna show a few of those dollar coins.. | |

Pretty Cool The Statue of liberty For reference sake I'll call these 1a & 1b, You get the idea right. |
These all look like state quarters to me. But what do i know?
Up next 4a & 4b
So onto the next one just on it's own so no need for a & b or even just an A, lets just call it 5
Just love the eagle on this one.
Still something is always better than nothing right.
So i hope you liked the show and Plesae let me know anything about the coins as my knowledge on US coinage is limited and knowledge is everything..
So let it rip in the comments
The coin with the eagle is a “typical” US quarter, the other one’s are cheap “collectors” and same with the nickels... not so sure about the others although i know the US did adopt a $1 coin — but i don’t think it’s widely circulated.
Thx bud
The Susan B Anthony & Sacajawea dollar coins never really took off. You get them around but for some reason no one here really likes them.
The quarters (state quarters and National Park quarters) are kind of collectible. Kids keep them. I try to keep one or two of each but their value circulated is just their value. I could see trading a regular quarter for one of yours just to try to round out a set, but don’t know that I would give you extra for the trade.
Same deal with the presidential coins. They release a few new ones every year. But let’s be honest, not every president is worth commemorating! 😬😄
True, I/he is not worried much about the value of the coins. more info on them.
I did find out The Susan B Anthony was similar in size and metallic composition to the quarter and looking at them, not to much difference in size. so I can see how they were mistaken for each other easily. why they changed the colour to a more gold colour with newer $1 coins.
I guess they'll never take of while the $1 notes are around. here in uk they removed the £1 notes and replaced with coins so you had no option but to use the heavy coins.
Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold
