Rwanda Rooster
In 2017 we were treated to this amazing lunar coin, the Rwanda Rooster. The first in a new lunar set the mosaic design is stunning. The proof version sold out very quickly and has a low mintage of 1,000. The BU version is minted to order and supplied in a sealed plastic package.

To be honest there's not much i can say about this coin, it speaks for itself and one of my favorite coins and i cant wait for the next release; year of the dog

When compared next to the BU version the proof obviously stands out but that takes nothing away from the BU version as it is also magnificent

Because of this coin's rarity, you will not see, many, at your local coin shop.
Cant see many people wanting to sell theirs and a 12 coin series will just add to its appeal with each new release, was a must have coin.

I really like the stained glass effect and design of this one. It almost made me break my personal ban on buying anything lunar and I still may have too.
I know what you mean about lunar coins, every dragon and his dog is minting them but this is the one, im scared how quick the dog will sell out and what price it will be (already started saving lol) but there is a tiger and dragon to come down the road but this rooster will rule the, ahmm, well rule the roost i suppose :)

Yea the proof is just something else, just hope the next release price is reasonable, im imagining a painful purchase :(

Just checked Dios111 who i bought it off but all sold out. There are some on ebay but people are asking silly money for them. Ive seen a couple selling for over $100 in US but they are saying slightly scratched. At this stage i would spend the extra and get a graded one so you get the quality.
