Pickaxe had a defect... I trimmed it.
I may trim the handle... maybe shorten the pick side...
Or I may remelt... it solves all cosmetic problems 😜

I think that remelting it will solve all problems and you will not have much work...
Ha ha, it's the silversmith's version of bark. When you're gardening and make a mistake, just throw some bark on it. That covers many mistakes as well.
I still think the pickaxe looks really good. :)
