Most of my stack now is antique silverware, bought below spot but worth way more to the right buyer one day. A good chunk of the rest of it is pre 47 and pre 20 coinage, and a box full of world silver coins. I'm happy to sit on it for a while now and leave the rest in sovereigns and fiat.

Haha, I knew that word would get a response. But it is a necessary evil of living costs. If I could buy things online using Paypal PM holdings, that might be nice! Of course your 'balance' would bounce up and down every month, so maybe not as useful as it is idyllic, in a world of weekly manipulations.
