Good morning friends....
Thought Is share another set of bars from my collection today.
I am a huge fan of the Scottsdale Mint. From the amazing stacker rounds to their hand poured bars. Everything they produce has fantastic quality.
So today I am going to share with you two five ounce hand poured Prey bars. Each is unique and they are a very chunky bar.
Lets take a look....
They have a super cool brushed satin finish to them. And look at the cool bubble patterns on the backs.
Those are cool. I haven't seen those before. I am really curious how they get different finishes on silver. I get mirror, just polish a bunch right? But I don't understand matte and blackened...how do they do it?
Thanks. They don’t make them anymore. I know how blackening is done. It’s liver of sulfur. Then you buff off what you don’t want on. The satin finish is a mystery to me. Skully does it by hand but it’s not the same as this finish or the one on the Prospector Gold & Gems bars. I don’t know but they are badass.
Oh, I know, Skully's finish is exquisite! I would say that is the most high class looking piece I have. Fine art for sure.

Fun... I have to get set up to do some pouring! It would help scratch my stacker itch and amuse my inner artist!
That’s a great idea. I’d love to see your work and own some as well.....👍 Thanks for stopping by, much appreciated.
