Why Do They Call Them "JUNK" Stokjockey ?? Well I am Glad You Asked, and Here is an Answer............
Junk is a type of Ancient Chinese Sailing Ship that is still in use Today. Junks were used as Seagoing Vessels as Early as the 2nd Century AD and Developed rapidly during the Song Dynasty (960–1279). They Evolved in the Later Dynasties, and were used throughout Asia for extensive Ocean Voyages..............It Kind of has That Pirate Feel To It.

it would be nice to have a collection of coins from all over the world and the old ones.
It's a year 23. Nice coin. Would like to find one in Unc. Yr. 23 is 1934. The thing is in 1949 three US mints struck (restrikes) a total of 30 million. So one doesn't know if its a restrict or not, but you can still pay about 60.00 or more for a really nice one. I'd like to find a Yr. 21 (1932) with the rising sun and the three birds over the junk ship. But with 2.2 million mintage in Unc, it would be about 1,000 USD. Not easy to find in any condition. Thanks for showing, it's a cool historical silver coin. Back when some people were using tangible asset for trade. Thanks for the show. Check out my channel. Got some coin stuff on it, too.
I Saw this Today and I just About Fell Out of my Chair.................

Nice coin. How much silver is in this coin?
Actual silver is .7555 Actual Silver Weight (ASW) So about 8/10 ths of an ounce It's 88 percent silver. So 90% is good rounded. About same as US silver dollar from the 19th & early 20th century. Nice coin. Like to have a footlocker pirates chest full, eh? :)
Thank You for pointing that out @majestic-haji I did not have the Krause Catalog in Front of me with the Exact numbers.......
26.7 Grams total Weight .900 Fine
