The SP would produce curation income as well as potential capital gains...in 5 Years, I would be the SP would be worth more, but its a tough question because that's a sexy looking coin!
P.S. "Windows Key - Shift - S" allows you to take a screen snapshot on a PC and is easier for Steem posts!

This is a hard choice for sure. I think what I would do with $5,000 would be to split it. I would put maybe 2k-3k in steem and maybe LTC, buy about 15 more ounces of silver to reach my first year stacking goal, and then buy a couple of generic ounces of gold. I am not to good quite yet about determining what will become a premium piece. Haha!

ok i promised myself no more commenting, i have so little rc, but i am catching up on posts saw this and thought oh god surely i can squeeze one more comment out, wont be able to talk for like three days but here goes :) 5000 is such a difficult amount to place in investment, i had to have a good think about this one, mainly because if i had any amount of money i would use it to get a proper home for my kids and i, however 5000 isnt enough for that sooooo my choice would be steem, and theres more than one reason :) theres the obvious; i love ssg and ssg is on steem therefor i would buy steem, but also i have a deep love of silver that is difficult to explain its not just based on its paper value, it feels nice, it is not too expensive, it can be made into pretty things without having to worry too much if you go wrong making the pretty things :) it is quite scarce, i recently found out there is more gold above ground than silver, many places are running low on silver, to my mind it is more precious than gold, this isnt to say i wouldnt buy gold, i would, but not as an investment, to me gold is way over priced, it is too costly to protect, ship, buy, or make things out of, to me it has limited appeal, i will say this is all my personal opinion i do not wish to upset those who prefer gold, its just not something i personally invest in, so steem wins :) this is a superb example of gold art though and if i was in a position where i didnt have to think of the consequences of my choice then it would stand a better chance of being bought :) ok i daren't look at my rc now its probably around 11 or something, i do it evry time, ah well :) thank you for this post i hope you have a wonderful day my full respect to you
I would power up with a $5000 $STEEM purchase. In addition to my purchase I would make a post as to WHY. This second action would be used to encourage others to take the leap as well.
I hope to see a $.25 $STEEM. At that point, I will take a chunk of disability check and make a purchase.
