As a stacking noob, it feels like a bit of a waste to hide such pretty art away.
Do things like this have some drawbacks I'm not seeing?
I notice it has quite a premium and doesn't claim to be .999

Is there much of a resale market for this stuff or do you have to find another noob? http://amp.jmbullion.com/8-oz-antique-finish-stegosaurus-silver-statue/

The smart money is in bullion and minted coins with precious metals content. This dinosaur is probably plated, so while it looks cool, you will not see any gains as an investment.

Stick to .999 coins/rounds/bars or even the .9999 stuff in silver. And buy only pure gold bullion or coins like the Sovereign, the Krugurrand (technically bullion) or old French, Swiss, Austrian coins that have gold content you can research.

Another great hack is to look for an item on ebay to see what it's selling for. But my advice would be to look at Perth Mint products since you're in 'straya.

Cheers Matt!
