Well, I got busy and forgot about putting my daily coins post out. Sorry about that for all of you who have been nervously sitting around waiting for your daily fix. You don't have to wait any longer.
I posted a few days ago about the 1.5 ounce Canadian Super Leaf and how I was really enjoying the larger-sized coins. Now I'm back with another.
It's from the Canadian Wildlife series and this is the 1.5 ounce Grizzly Bear coin. Being that the Grizzly is larger than the other bears, I thought it should have been at least 1.75 ounces, but that's just my opinion.
It's a great looking coin with a striking depiction of a Grizzly in the wild. I wouldn't want to be there in real life if the bear was acting like this.
It has the standard obverse.
The back is so cool though, let's take another look. Rawr!
I hope you enjoyed checking out this 1.5 ounce beauty from the RCM's wildlife series.
Stay safe, and away from Grizzly Bears.
Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold
hey why is that thing look gold? have you gone to the gold side dude? lol. hey that's a real beauty there but I think it should be a dang 2 oz coin. it's a great one though.
I get that question often. It's the lighting. I haven't seen any 2 ounce coins. Let me know if you find some.
howdy again sir noname! well no not coins but there sure are alot of 2 ounce silver rounds everywhere, I'd start collecting those probably. when I get permission from Mrs. J..lol.
That's cool! I like coin with animals on them! I'm sorry I posted my coin post so late! I couldn't do it when I promised I would. It also has an animal on though.
Coins with animals are great. I love their cute little faces. Or terrifying faces that can't bite me because they're made of silver. Regardless, I like them. Don't worry about posting at a specific time. We all were getting hosed with HF20. Now we're on 20.4, so we're at least able to post and comment again. Have at it!
I tried to read about that but I did not understand what happened but whatever happened, it seems to be better now. I've just been seeing lots of terms I've never heard on steemit before such as credits and mana.
They updated the code for the Steem blockchain. They didn't do a good job testing it. From what I hear they just write the code, but make the witnesses validate it. And it seems the witnesses didn't know there was a test server to try it out.
Rather than having bandwidth like we did before, they're using "resource credits" to measure how much we can interact with the blockchain. They didn't set the level of credits that everyone got high enough.
Mana and resource credits are the same thing as far as I know.
Thanks for the helpful information.
You're welcome. I'm glad it was helpful. I'm not an expert, but I do try to figure out what's going on, so if you have questions, feel free to ask. The worst I can say is "I don't know." :)
I like this series of Canadian wildlife weighting 1.5oz. What I don't like is the price the dealers are charging for them...
The coins are great and I'd like to get all of them. Like you said, the prices are a little high. However, this was a treat for me. The cost per ounce isn't too much more than many of the other specialty coins like the Scrooge McDuck or other 1 ounce wildlife coins. It's just 1.5 ounces, so it seems like it's more. Well, overall it is, but the per ounce is about the same for me.
I was starting to get itchy and some shakes, waiting for the coin of the day, but this was worth waiting for! A truly beautiful coin and RAWR!!! scary too :) So cool on one side and blah on the other :) She should change her hair style for different coins. Or roar too haha
Sorry to put you through that. I'm glad you have friends who could help you through the challenging time. It hasn't been too much better because right after my posting late, Steemit took us down. Hope you're enjoying the break by getting some time on the beach or in the pool with Brian. :)
Brian and I have enjoyed the break for sure; we've been spending time by the pool here, reading real books on the patio :), and simply relaxing. It's been a nice break for sure, and I have to admit that the only reason I forced myself back on my laptop today, is because it was pouring rain :)
It's good to take a break, and it can be good to come back. Just don't feel too pressured to do either. That's when it becomes work, and if work doesn't pay you, then it should at least be fun. Ha ha.
I could't have said it better myself! Whenever this starts to feel like work, and I'm literally dragging myself to the computer, I stop for a day or so. It is supposed to be fun here :)
Thank you for this shinny and beautiful looking dose ;)
Hope you are having good day and we will see another one of such posts soon
