Just doing some simple math, 5 SBD is worth about $30... not sure what the original round costs, but I can't see it being too much more than that.
All the best on the raffle. If anyone has a 2017 Steem silver round to sell, I would be interested in buying it, I also want to buy the 2018 ones when available.

I hear the 2017's are going for around $60ish
Hi @vinmaru
The coins are becoming more rare over time due to the limited mintage of 1500 units.
This will gain much more $$ value in the coming years as Steemit grows.
With 1 SBD for a ticket as a base I wanted to give as many people as possible a chance to win :)
If I find anyone looking to sell I will send you a message to your wallet.
@o07, The raffle is a good idea, but not for me... I would rather buy the coin knowing I will get it. But I am curious to see how the randomize selection (site) works for it and witness. I have a product sales and distribution company for Grow Equipment and Vape devices. I was thinking of giving away a Vape Oil Pen as a giveaway for a post about them, based on the number of UpVotes given, but I kinda like your idea of a raffle giveaway for purchase into the draw. I may look into this a raffle idea a little more. Cheers and all the best for the raffle.
Cheers mate, take care :)
There’s one being auctioned on @steembay right now. I think the current high bid is 12.15 SBD.
@powellx5, thanks... I will take a look at @steembay, never heard of it but I imagine it's like an eBay for Steem.
@coolbowser is selling it.
With SBD at over $5 that is an expensive coin. I think I'll wait for the 2018 version which I think will be a lot better value if I can get in there when it is first released.
