Toning on some coins look really good, I am a fan of the mercury dimes, would be nice to see the other side as this coin looks in really nice condition.
The artificial toning is done one of two ways either a hard boiled egg mashed up and sealed in a container or liver of sulphur in warm water.
Mercury/Liberty Dime. My favorite coin. Natural, Rainbow toning is the best. Takes decades. Don't fall for the fake/artificial toning.
