What you say is true, and I really think we have to be strategic with what we buy, also there are clothes that are expensive just by the only fact the they come from abroad, but sometimes national clothes are really good and quality clothes, so we have to choose wisely.
Cool fact: I bought a pair of shoes for around 4$ 3 months ago haha, the laces were of bad quality they looked horrible but the shoes looked similar to a Vans shoes, so I bought them and changed the laces for actual Vans laces, and now I still have my cheap shoes looking like original ones, I have walked for hours wearing them and they are lasting well :D
