Well I did it , went out and bought a proper gaming headset so I can join the Steemspeak talk soon thanks to SteemSpeak by @fyrstikken.
Steamspeek is currently a fairly small but one of the most popular voice live-chat groups where "sometimes we talk about Steem"
I Never really cared for live-chat before since I'm not much of a gamer, but lately it's sounded more interesting to me.
Steemspeak is basically a crypto related 24/7 live podcast that anyone can join.
It's mostly moderated by @fyrstikken but his friends take over when he is busy in real life. For now pretty much anyone can join and talk as long as you don't troll. Eventually there will be too many people in the group and smaller groups will split off depending on their topics.
I'm also looking forward to trying out live-chat with distributed networks like Riot and Tox.
This "Blackweb" headset was 40 bucks at Wallmart, more than I wanted but hopefully worth it.
I was pleasantly surprised to notice that instead of USB they have the type of jack that works with phones and tablets plus a splitter for computers and laptops too.
