Match Preview
With a rivalry so deep that it echoes throughout College Football history itself, the Georgia Bulldogs will be facing off against the Florida Gators in a promisingly tense and eventful matchup! Although the Bulldogs have decidedly been in favor of the Gators since their first meeting with the Gators in 1915, the odds seem to be stacked in favor of the Gators this time, who are currently ranked at #14!
Last Meeting Between the Two
These teams last met on October 31st, 2015 when the Gators, then ranked at #11, defeated the Bulldogs 27-3!
Georgia Bulldogs
Georgia is suffering from a crushing defeat last season against the Gators... The Bulldogs will be returning to the field after a much-needed bye week, heading on to meet their biggest rival, the Florida Gators. The Bulldogs are record stands at 4-3, as they just suffered a close defeat when they played against Vanderbilt in a match that boiled down to a 17-16 score on October 15th... Georgia is currently 2-4 against the spread in their last 6 games, and they are 9-3 straight up in their last 12 games. The Bulldogs boast a solid defense and a season-high of 326 rushing yards in a previous game this season against South Carolina.
Quarterback Overview
Georgia's freshman quarterback, Jacob Eason went 27-40 for 346 yards and a touchdown in their last match against Vanderbilt... He most definitely places Georgia in a firm position as they are coming out of a bye week. However, historically, Eason’s position as a freshman quarterback playing against the Gators in Florida is not very good... The last quarterback making starting against the Gators in Florida resulted in a win for Florida and it was back in the 1980s.
Running Back Overview
The Bulldogs have a greatly powerful two-headed running attack with Nick Chubb who has gained 586 on 113 carries with 5 TD’s on the season and Sony Michel who has gained 358 all-purpose yards on 73 carries with 1 TD this season.
Wide Receiver Overview
Isaiah McKenzie has lead the Bulldogs wide receivers with a whopping 415 yards off 30 receptions and 5 TD’s this season!
Defense Overview
Overall, the Bulldogs has a solid defense, and a return from a bye week is even better... Look for the Bulldogs to cause havoc in the secondary and with their front four getting after the Gators QB this game!
Injury Report
Georgia only has 1 injured player in their cornerback, Deandre Baker who is suffering from a foot injury...
Florida Gators
The Gators currently are sitting at #14 right under Boise State with a record of 5-1... Florida is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 ganmes in the ATS. However, Florida boasts one of the best defenses in college football history, and a very solid offense as well... The Gators also have the upperhand in terms of location, with the match taking place in Jacksonville, Florida, making the audience turnout and atmosphere one which that could tip the scale in Florida’s favor.
Quarterback Overview
Their QB, Luke Del Rio made his return back to the field after sustaining an injury, and bagged a win against Missouri after throwing three interceptions...
Running Back Overview
Their running-game must improve in order for the Gators to get a victory against the Bulldogs; specifically with the Gators’ bare-average rushing attack which finally peaked at 287 yards this season.
Wide Receiver Overview
Antonio Callaway leads the Gators’ wide receivers with 399 yards off 23 receptions and 2 TD’s this season!
Defenese Overview - Injury Report
With a long list of injuries, including an ACL tear for their defensive back, CJ McWilliams and two more defensive linemen out indefinitely, the Gators’ defense could be placed in a worrying position. However, the secondary defensive duo of Jalen Tabor and Quincy Wilson could give Georgia a tough time!

How to Play
Vote on the main post to enter the bet (main post rewards will also be added to the Stake Pool).
Cast your Vote Bet on ONLY ONE outcome for which you bet on for the win (Multiple comment votes will be automatically disqualified by the script, unvote and revote counts as multiple votes and will be disqualified).
After 24 hours, the post and related game comments payout to the pool; remember 25% voters rewards are deducted from the total post payout value first as per Steem curation rules. Voters are rewarded in standard fashion in proportion to their Steem Power holdings.
The Stake Pool:
The remaining 75% of the total payout is paid out in 50% Steem Power and 50% in liquid currencies, the latter now varies in payout ratio after the new fork. To make the process less complicated, we have decided to use all paid out SBD to buy Steem in the internal market to create a grand total Steem Stake Pool.
30% of the Stake Pool will be retained, of which 15% will go to the writer/sports presenter of the post, and the 15% balance towards editing, development and advertising.
70% of the Stake Pool will be held until the event/game outcome is determined.
Once the winning outcome is determined, we will execute a proprietary developed script that will divide and pay out the Steem rewards equally, using the Power Up method, to Mass Distribute SP to all participants that voted on the main post as the entrance fee as well as voted on the correct comment representing the winning outcome.
Only participants with a Reputation of 35 or more will qualify to earn SP rewards, but non-qualifiers can still vote and comment in support of the redistribution initiative.
Entry cut-off time is the earlier of the post payout or the start of the event.
