Match Preview
Without a doubt, this will be an iconic showdown featuring the Michigan Wolverines and the Michigan State Spartans and this will be the 109th match against each other since 1898. The current win streak is currently held by the Spartans with 3 in a row; although, the odds for Saturday’s match seem to signal to be in the Spartan's favor!
Last Meeting Between the Two
The two teams last met on the field on October 17th, 2015 where the Spartans won 27-23 in the last 10 seconds of the game. In the game, the Spartans did not have the lead even 1 time but a late fumble by the Wolverines’ punter placed the ball into the hands of MSU’s Jalen Watts-Jackson who returned the ball 38 yards for the winning touchdown just as the time expired!
Michigan Wolverines
The Wolverines have been enjoying a successful season; they are currently ranked at #2 in NCAAF with a remarkable record of 7-0! The Wolverines are solidly placed for their standoff against the Spartans... Michigan places 4-3 in the ATS, dominating the season under their head coach, Jim Harbaugh, who returns for a second season (Formerly a coach for the 49ers in the NFL). The Wolverines average 483 yards per game, with the offense peaking at 561 yards in a previous game against Illinois!
Quarterback Overview
Michigan's QB, Wilton Speight proves to be untouchable, scoring a whopping 13 touchdowns! Harbaugh has reportedly worked very hard in reshaping the Wolverines; particularly after the immensely popular match-up against the Spartans a year before, which has only proven to sky-rocket tensions and hype to the buildup of the game!
Running Back Overview
The dual threat rushing attack is lead by Chris Evans who has 416 yards on 49 carries and 3 TD’s along side De’von Smith with 412 yards on 79 carries with 3 TD’s also this season!
Wide Receiver Overview
Amara Darboh leads the Wolverines wide receiver core with 499 yards off 39 receptions and he has also picked5 TD’s this season.

The defense proves to be very promising this year, with many lauding it is the best they have ever seen!

Only the cornerback, Jeremy Clark and OL, Grant Newsome are out for this game.
Michigan State Spartans
The Spartans have had a rocky start to the season; MSU has lost a lot of talent to the NFL, and the team has seen quarterback changes from Tyler O’Connor to Brian Lewerke – who started against both Northwestern and Maryland, and he lost each game.

The linebacker, Riley Bullough has collected 3 personal foul penalties in the first quarter of this season... This inconsistency, coupled with the Spartans’ record of 2-5 and position of 0-5 ATS in the last 5 games makes them ill-prepared to face off the Wolverines on Saturday...
Injury Report
The Spartans have a number of injuries to cap off a dismal football season; with 7 injured players, including 2 defense linemen, 1 cornerback, and 1 quarterback, MSU could find themselves very hard-pressed to rely so much on defense; a fall-back they need against the Wolverines’ powerful offense. However, as with last year, the Spartans may prove to only gain momentum and bag another miracle win this year.

How to Play
Vote on the main post to enter the bet (main post rewards will also be added to the Stake Pool).
Cast your Vote Bet on ONLY ONE outcome for which you bet on for the win (Multiple comment votes will be automatically disqualified by the script, unvote and revote counts as multiple votes and will be disqualified).
After 24 hours, the post and related game comments payout to the pool; remember 25% voters rewards are deducted from the total post payout value first as per Steem curation rules. Voters are rewarded in standard fashion in proportion to their Steem Power holdings.
The Stake Pool:
The remaining 75% of the total payout is paid out in 50% Steem Power and 50% in liquid currencies, the latter now varies in payout ratio after the new fork. To make the process less complicated, we have decided to use all paid out SBD to buy Steem in the internal market to create a grand total Steem Stake Pool.
30% of the Stake Pool will be retained, of which 15% will go to the writer/sports presenter of the post, and the 15% balance towards editing, development and advertising.
70% of the Stake Pool will be held until the event/game outcome is determined.
Once the winning outcome is determined, we will execute a proprietary developed script that will divide and pay out the Steem rewards equally, using the Power Up method, to Mass Distribute SP to all participants that voted on the main post as the entrance fee as well as voted on the correct comment representing the winning outcome.
Only participants with a Reputation of 35 or more will qualify to earn SP rewards, but non-qualifiers can still vote and comment in support of the redistribution initiative.
Entry cut-off time is the earlier of the post payout or the start of the event.
