Match Preview
The LSU Tigers will take on the Ole Miss Rebels Saturday night in week eight of college football. This match is highly predicted to be a battle of epiciness! These two teams are very battle hardened and will try to prove once again why they are more superior than the other. Each of these teams have had their share of misfortunes with injuries and it will be worth finding out how they cope up with the additional workload and stress on Saturday night!
Ole Miss Rebels
The Ole Miss Rebels are 3-3 this season and they are coming off of a tough four point loss on the road in Arkansas, last week. The Ole Miss offense is averaging 39.7 PAG and 476.7 YPG and they have turned the ball over 10 times.
Quarterback Overview
The Rebels QB, Chad Kelly has completed 62.4 percent of his passes, he has thrown 14 touchdowns, he's also thrown five interceptions and he has rushed for 213 yards and three touchdowns!
Running Back Overview
RB, Akeem Judd leads the Ole Miss rushing attack with 343 yards on the ground off of 67 carries and three TD’s while out of all people, the QB, Kelly is very close behind him with 213 yards on 52 carries and also three TD’s this season.
Wide Receiver Overview
Evan Engram leads the wide receivers of Ole Miss with a whopping 590 yards with an average of 15.9 yards per catch off of 37 receptions and has also added five TD’s. Their second best wide-out, Damore’ea Stringfellow has 331 yards with an average of 15.0 yards per catch on 22 receptions and two TD’s this season.
Ole Miss Injuries
The Ole Miss Rebels will have to make do without Ken Webster and Eric Sweeney for the rest of the season! This comes as a big blow as these two players have had a key role in their success. The Rebels next step is figuring out how to cope with these long-term injuries effectively and efficiently!
LSU Tigers
The LSU Tigers are 4-2 thus far and they have markedly improved since the signing of the new head coach, Ed Orgeron. The LSU offense is averaging 28.5 points and 408.5 YPG and they have turned the ball over eight times, but the offense has scored 42 and 45 points in their last 2 games!
Quarterback Overview
The Tigers QB, Danny Etling has completed 58.8 percent of his passes to go along with six touchdowns and two interceptions.
Running Back Overview
Derrius Guice has taken over the LSU rushing attack with Leonard Fournette injured and he has rushed for 564 yards and 6 touchdowns. Expect a Leonard Fournette return in this game….
Wide Receiver Overview
Travin Dural is the top receiver with 20 catches and a touchdown and Malachi Dupre has 18 catches and 2 touchdowns.
LSU Injuries
LSU Tiger’s injury position is one to be quite significant and possibly damaging to their hopes of a sustained winning run. Three key players namely Corey Thompson, Christian LaCouture, and Isaiah Washington all suffering long-term injuries.

How to Play
Vote on the main post to enter the bet (main post rewards will also be added to the Stake Pool).
Cast your Vote Bet on ONLY ONE outcome for which you bet on for the win (Multiple comment votes will be automatically disqualified by the script, unvote and revote counts as multiple votes and will be disqualified).
After 24 hours, the post and related game comments payout to the pool; remember 25% voters rewards are deducted from the total post payout value first as per Steem curation rules. Voters are rewarded in standard fashion in proportion to their Steem Power holdings.
The Stake Pool:
The remaining 75% of the total payout is paid out in 50% Steem Power and 50% in liquid currencies, the latter now varies in payout ratio after the new fork. To make the process less complicated, we have decided to use all paid out SBD to buy Steem in the internal market to create a grand total Steem Stake Pool.
30% of the Stake Pool will be retained, of which 15% will go to the writer/sports presenter of the post, and the 15% balance towards editing, development and advertising.
70% of the Stake Pool will be held until the event/game outcome is determined.
Once the winning outcome is determined, we will execute a proprietary developed script that will divide and pay out the Steem rewards equally, using the Power Up method, to Mass Distribute SP to all participants that voted on the main post as the entrance fee as well as voted on the correct comment representing the winning outcome.
Only participants with a Reputation of 35 or more will qualify to earn SP rewards, but non-qualifiers can still vote and comment in support of the redistribution initiative.
Entry cut-off time is the earlier of the post payout or the start of the event.

@steemsports in the unlikely event that when the Stake Pool is divided up between the winners and the nomenclature resolution goes below the third decimal place (example: 0.0001), then Steem decimal restrictions won’t allow a payout and the pool will carry over to the next game.
Please vote responsibly :).

I hafta go with Ol' Miss ;)
This game could go either way. Ole Miss.
Ole Miss Rebels bouncing back after a heartbreaking loss.
Two sub par SEC teams going at it but i think Ole Miss takes it. LSU doesnt stand a chance. They are just damaged goods. When u think of LSU your supposed to think of a power house SEC school, but now they are just straight up garbage. #gigem
@steemsports you have a backlog of several unpaid games and now this:
Maybe you should stop posting new games until payments are up to date?
How about relax? You're not paying to play.
How about answering a simple question? Those 330 SBD and 5833 STEEM are resources from several unpaid bets. Were transfered to @steemsportsfund because the "script is being tested".
So if the script needs testing and funds need to be transfered because of that, how come new game bets are being open?
Hi @steemjustice , thanks for your concern for the community. We have replied in a future post and you have acknowledged. https://steemit.com/steemsports-stats/@steemsports/weekly-stats-prize-and-script-payout-updates Payouts are currently underway. Thanks for your patience.
LSU
