The karate kid named Uriah takes on an opponent he faced before. Has the veteran we call Moose sharpened his skills, or we he lay pray to PrimeTime once again?.
UFC BELFAST - Gegard "The Dreamcatcher" Mousasi vs Uriah "Prime Time" Hall
Gegard Mousasi
Gegard 'The Dreamcatcher' Mousasi is a former 'Pride FC', 'Strikeforce' and current 'UFC' fighter. With over 48 fights and 40 wins to his name, he is the epitome of a veteran. Mousasi garnered most of his fans with his silent assassin persona; he is at peace in all his fights....more relaxed in the cage than any fighter we've ever seen.
He adapts well on the feet and ground; he is the long-time sparring partner of boxing veteran Vic D'Archinyan and has grappled with the best in the world for over a decade. His losses come to only top 5 contenders or champions, and he can obliterate most anyone under that ranking at middleweight. He has finally graced the top 5 of the 'UFC' and he is seeking redemption with this upcoming fight, The Moose is a very intuitive fighter with an under rated take down game, and he possesses a truly lethal and nullifying grappling arsenal.
He toyed with a black belt in Thales Leites like a child on the ground, and he been able to sneakily submit dangerous grapplers like Mark Hunt and Melvin Manhoef when given the smallest opening. It is up to Moose to come in confident as his opponent has shut his lights off before, it is all a mental game with Mousasi....because when he is on, he could be the champion.
Uriah Hall
Uriah 'PrimeTime' Hall is a 2nd degree Kyokushin Kaikan black belt, and the 12th ranked Middleweight fighter in the 'UFC'. Kaikan is a form of full contact karate, and Uriah's training in that art form has made him and formidable and frightening striker. 'PrimeTime' is an imposing 6 foot with a broad frame and nearly 80-inch reach, his power is shown through impact...as he is devastating from range.
When Uriah is mentally in the fight and prepared to engaged without emotion, he is one of the most precise and powerful hitters in the game. His spinning kicks and agile right cross make him lethal from distance, and his spin kicks are so fast that telegraphing is never really an issue. Uriah has real power in his hands and feet, and when his is comfortable at range, he can unload devastating one shot knockouts. Precision and power are real, and this man is an example of how they work together
The Matchup
This match is a bit strange, as it has no bearing to the rankings nor each man's career in the long run. Mousasi was finished by strikes to Uriah late last year, and this fight embodies his redemption and road back to the title. Uriah has had hard losses as his slow starts have cost him dearly, but confidence plays a big factor in Uriah's performances...and having a win over the Moose already is definitely a booster to consider.
Uriah will have to start quick and be his unorthodox self; Mousasi knows now that he can force the fight early and make Uriah uncomfortable. Uriah has impeccable timing and was able to take Mousasi out by reading his double legs. A spinning kick to the head with a follow up flying knee showed Uriah's ability to read the takedown.. and deliver his classic fight ending spinning kick to the head. This will be an interesting matchup, and hopefully, both men show up in full mental form...consider the main event a big step for Uriah and that may up the ante. We have a pick em' here, disregard the odds and go with your gut on this one!

How to Play
Vote on the main post to enter the bet (main post rewards will also be added to the Stake Pool).
Cast your Vote Bet on ONLY ONE outcome for which you bet on for the win (Multiple comment votes will be automatically disqualified by the script, unvote and revote counts as multiple votes and will be disqualified).
After 24 hours, the post and related game comments payout to the pool; remember 25% voters rewards are deducted from the total post payout value first as per Steem curation rules. Voters are rewarded in standard fashion in proportion to their Steem Power holdings.
The Stake Pool:
The remaining 75% of the total payout is paid out in 50% Steem Power and 50% in liquid currencies, the latter now varies in payout ratio after the new fork. To make the process less complicated, we have decided to use all paid out SBD to buy Steem in the internal market to create a grand total Steem Stake Pool.
30% of the Stake Pool will be retained, of which 15% will go to the writer/sports presenter of the post, and the 15% balance towards editing, development and advertising.
70% of the Stake Pool will be held until the event/game outcome is determined.
Once the winning outcome is determined, we will execute a proprietary developed script that will divide and pay out the Steem rewards equally, using the Power Up method, to Mass Distribute SP to all participants that voted on the main post as the entrance fee as well as voted on the correct comment representing the winning outcome.
Only participants with a Reputation of 35 or more will qualify to earn SP rewards, but non-qualifiers can still vote and comment in support of the redistribution initiative.
Entry cut-off time is the earlier of the post payout or the start of the event.

@steemsports in the unlikely event that when the Stake Pool is divided up between the winners and the nomenclature resolution goes below the third decimal place (example: 0.0001), then Steem decimal restrictions won’t allow a payout and the pool will carry over to the next game.
Please vote responsibly :).
