NBA Fantasy Picks 1/3/2018

We are back with another edition of NBA Fantasy Tonight and there is a Full Slate on tap this evening!

Jaylen Brown SF 5600. Brown appears to be back to 100% from his ankle injury a few ago. Back to his normal dose of 12 shots a game and 35 minutes. The Cavs simply do not play defense. Every game the Cavs strategy is the same score more points than the opponent. This does not bode well for the Celtics offense. They will need their secondary players to score to keep up with the Cavs. Vegas has them today as a 3 point favorite. I will take the discount on Brown's price and have plenty of shares tonight.

Chris Paul PG 9900. Harden is out for 2 weeks. That means Paul will be the focal point of the offense.Paul took a whopping 20 shots last game! He is priced pretty high, but his production is well worth it. Expect high ownership.

Hassan Whiteside C 8300. The Pistons have been getting destroyed down low all year. Whiteside has been absent for most of the season. He finally got back up to 28 minutes a game. We know the upside this guy has. Get in early on him before the price rises back above 10k.

Frank Ntilikina PG 4700. Frank simply did not find a rhythm last game. He only played 15 minutes. Don't expect that to happen again. The Knicks point guards are simply too old to handle back to back minutes at this point in the season. Even in a blowout expect Ntilikina to be on the floor tonight.

Carmelo Anthony PF 6200. I think we may see some vintage Melo against the Lakers tonight. He is silently taking 18-20 shots a game these days. The Lakers front court is simply not healthy right now. I will be diving in with both hands and only expect 5% ownership on this big slate tonight.

John Simmons SF 6400. Simmons is playing way too many minutes right now to look over. 35+ in the last 3. He has been shooting awful too and still is getting the a lot of minutes. That is a good sign. Like the Cavs, the Rockets are a club that want to beat you with points. They rank in the bottom 5 guarding shooting forwards this your. I would agree Simmons floor is sub par, but his ceiling is too hard to pass up in this match up.
