MLB Fantasy 6/25

We are back with another edition of MLB Fantasy Today! It was a wild Sunday as every single Major League Baseball team was in action. There are 12 games on Monday and a lot of these teams had to travel over night. That means there will some well rested home teams and some sleepy teams that are in the middle of a road trip. Let's get started with the pitcher position.

B Snell P 9100. Although Blake Snell is having a dynamite season so far for the Tampa Bay Rays, that is not my only reason for picking him today. He is 9-4 on the year with a very impressive ERA of 2.48 and a WHIP of 1.06. But he is also pitching at home today and well rested after the Washington Nationals played in a Sunday night baseball game in which they had to fly all night down to Florida for today's game. That means Bryce Harper and crew are likely going to be tired for the game and that favors Blake Snell.

C Bellinger C/1B 3800. Cody Bellinger is struggling a bit when it comes to batting average this year and he is batting just .239. But he has shown some great power and is leading the Dodgers in home runs with 15. He is also facing a rookie pitcher who has never thrown a ball in the MLB. Duane Underwood Jr. is making his debut start for the Cubs and that should have the Dodgers batters drooling, especially Bellinger.

D Gordon 2B 2900. Dee Gordon is the STEAL of the day in my book. The Seattle Mariners second baseman is having a dynamite season and is batting .289. But it is his 19 stolen bases that have me excited for today's game. His price has great value and I love him to be running wild in Baltimore today.

J Turner 3B 3000. Do not expect high ownership with this pick, which means it could be a huge plus for your line up. Turner has only played in 31 games this year and has been plagued by injury. But I love him today against the Cubs rookie pitcher. He will have some good opportunities at some aggressive swings and might be able to put one in the bleachers.
