The new age karateka is something not so common in the realm of mixed martial arts. Wonderboy made karate cool again with his dismantling of most of the division (asides from the current welterweight champion). Never since Lyoto Machida have we seen such striking specialists.

Welterweight is at an all time stall right now; the likes of Colby Covington and Kamaru Usman are dark horses laying in wait for their shot, but the truth is the UFC knows exactly who they want to propel to the top... and that is the Liverpool kid who comes to bang it out every time.

Darren Till is the supremely confident and hard hitting slugger from the UK who made his way onto the scene only a few years ago... but is finally making the waves the UFC had intended for when the signed him. Till has not only crossed European lines, he is influencing the American public.
Till has an immense fandom already, he is seeming to the be the new hope for welterweight after a few years of strange handings off of the belt. Till with his first round knockout of Cowboy Cerrone last year was just what the UFC needed to prop him with a top five ranked contender.

It will be interesting to see if Till has improved his ground game since a very hard fought draw with Nicholas Dalby nearly a half decade ago now. It would seem Till has taken a lot of time off to perfect his skill set, but now he is unleashing for all that lost time....

We will see how far this young man from Liverpool can go with his karate base and surprising power. The mass of this kid is immense, and he will be a handful for any welterweight in the UFC. Hype or no hype, we've seen enough glimmer to hope... Till may be ready for the Wonderboy.

postingan yang berkesan saya suka dengan ini. thanks @steemsports

It's brilliant to see an exciting fighter coming from Liverpool making an impact on the biggest stage.

Wonderboy is a great striker but can't see him troubling Till. He posted on instagram before of him sparring a heavyweight, getting cracked clean on the chin and he didn't even wobble. Whereas Till definitely has the striking skills and power to hurt Wonderboy.

I hope so anyway because I'd be real excited to see Till V Woodley.

When is the fight?
